hatha yoga

The origin of yoga dates back to over five thousand years ago and it is a system of practices that include physical postures (asana) and movements, breath awareness and breathing practice (pranayama), meditation, chanting and relaxation.

I offer yoga classes applying the principles and practices that come from the hatha yoga tradition and its therapeutic applications. The classes are accessible to people of all ages, abilities, and social and cultural backgrounds. Each class is tailored to best suit the needs of the individuals and of the group, with a specific attention given to any physical injuries or pain. This is a trauma informed practice.
